Hi Seblod

I am having problems with the App folder manager. I want to move my Seblod App from a joomla 2.5 installation to a Joomla 3 installation. I have a Joomla 2.5.18 with a Seblod 3.7.2 installation and here it is impossible to download the Seblod App.

I Then tried Joomla 2.5.18 with Seblod 2.3.9 and here it is possible to download the app. But when I then afterwards go to my Joomla 3.4.8 with Seblod 3.7.2 I can´t upload the Seblod App. When I try to upload with the Joomla installer I get the error: There was an error uploading this file to the server. Unable to find install package.

I hope you can help.

Regards from Sixther

In Joomla navigate to System->System information->Folder permissions tab, there you can see all folders that need to be writeable and their status.

Yes they are all writable, except configuration.php. So I guess that´s not the problem.

Have you checked both installations? Can you install other extensions in your Joomla 3.4.8?

Also please unzip your app package and see if it has files and folders similar to what is shown on the picture

Hi can´t unzip the file, and it has a size of 0 byte. If I try to unzip I just get a fiule with the name app_cck_quick_folder.zip.cpgz. So the problem is that downloading the app doesn´t work for some reason.

I just tested with joomla 2.5.28 and seblod 3.7.2 and downloading an app works fine for me, which php version do you have? Can you see any errors when downloading an app if you set error reporting to maximum (if you have acsess to the logs check erorr log for any php errors)?

In the installation with Joomla 2.5.18 and Seblod 3.7.2 with error reporting to maximum, I get the error:

Fatal error: Call to undefined method plgCCK_Storage_LocationJoomla_Message::getStaticProperties() in /Applications/MAMP/htdocs/birgittemunkjoomla2.5tilmigration/libraries/cms/cck/cck.php on line 26

You will need to find any seblod plugins that were there in seblod 2, but were not updated to 3.x - those are leftovers from 2 and will cause problems, you need to disable them Also check fields on your contet type - seblod removed Message storage in seblod 3 so you need to remove such fields and recreate them with other storages.

Hi Klas

Thanks, but I don´t understand what you mean by: "Also check fields on your contet type - seblod removed Message storage in seblod 3 so you need to remove such fields and recreate them with other storages."

Can you give me an example ?

If you open fields configuration (little pencil icon on the left) you can see fields storage at the bottom, if storage is Standard->Message->somefield then you need to change this storage as message storage does not exist anymore, see linked manual for detials on available storages
