On a list, I want to click to edit the item in its form

Working with Standard / Free on other tables than Joomla's, I can create records.

But how can I edit them?

I was unable to load a form with the data already present in order to Modify.

When I add an Edit icon, it just shows the icon in the list. But the icon is inactive.

Hi Pachat,

The icon was inactive because you didn't add classes : 

  1. Add Edit icon;
  2. Click on 2 (Link + Typography);
  3. "Link" column, select "Form";
  4. Click on the "+" next to "Form", add the following classes : "btn btn-primary";
  5. Add "clear" into "Label" column.
