Good day,

We use Joomla 3.4.9 and Seblod 3.7.2. We build a form to save articles with extra fields. From the update to Seblod 3.7.2. we have errors saving new articles. Sometimes the system saves entered values, but a lot of times it does not. We cannot find the problem in logs or in error messages. There also is no predefined way to point out when is does or does not save.

Does anyone have any idea as to where to search for a possible solution?

Kind regards,

    René

Hello Bucklash,

I have only JCK manger and JE FAQpro on my system. What component are you thinking about?

Thank you,

Hi renecdr

I made some posts that covered my experience with a 'conflict'

seblod-admin-area-is-blank

google-chrome-no-show-forms

experience-with-payplans

I think it is inevitable that somewhere along the line you encounter a conflict.

My skill level is such that I could not diagnose the problem.

Hello renecdr,

did you make sure you have the correct Seblod server/PHP requirements? See attached article in manuals section.
I remember there were similar issues if you don't have the suggested PHP parameter values:

max_file_uploads = 50
max_input_vars = 3000

Also hence Lionel's comment in this topic on optimizing default storage format.

Hope this helps.

Hello Pepperstreet!! I changed these settings, but unfortunately it still does not save my changes every time. Sometimes it does, and sometimes it does not. Any other ideas?

Thank you,

Hello renecdr,
maybe I am stating the obvious: Did you restart the server after making the changes?

Besides I would try to disable any 3rd-party extra plugins on the site.
Or export the Seblod App -> install it on a fresh and clean Joomla on the same environment. That might help to hunt-down the issue.
