Steps to install SEBLOD onto your web server
Overview: Joomla 2.5 is required to install SEBLOD 2.x. To learn more about installing and configuring Joomla, please visit the Joomla! Official Documentation website. SEBLOD 2.x installation requires Super Administrator access and installation is done using the Extension Manager by uploading a single package file. For the list of changes, please read the SEBLOD 2.x Changelog.
1. Backup Your Website
As with any changes you would make to your website, you should backup your entire website prior to installing new software. This includes backing up not just your database, but also all of the files that comprise your website.
If your website is a production website, you may wish to test new software installation on a test website before making changes to your production website.
2. Download the latest SEBLOD software
Download the official SEBLOD 2.x software:

Save the download file onto your computer so that you can install it via Joomla's Extension Manager.
3. Install SEBLOD in Joomla!
- Navigate to the "Extension Manager"
- Select a package. Once the "Extension Manager" page has loaded as below, use the "Upload Package File" section and press the "Browse" button to load the file on your local drive, then press the "Upload & Install" button.
- Wait (it's depend of your Internet connectivity) and you will be see : The "Install Component Success" message confirm the success of the installation.
4. Implement recommendations
- Delete cache of your browser (in case of SEBLOD update)
- Verify that "Content - Seblod" plug-in is the first in the list of "Content" type plugin : Extensions > Plug-in Manager, Select at the top right with the dropdown list "content" plugin, verify that "Content - Seblod" plugin is in first position or change it to be.

Alternative Install Method
- Unzip SEBLOD package uzing your favorite software into a new folder on your desktop
- Rename that new folder to seblod (or any name that you prefer)
- Upload seblod folder to your Joomla /tmp directory using your FTP software
- Go to Extension Manager
- At Install from Directory, after the /tmp link, add /seblod. This means, after the link given in the box (which ends with /tmp), add /seblod after it. (Example, from: /var/www/web1/web/tmp to : /var/www/web1/web/tmp/seblod)
- Then click on Install button
