Curious, if this OK to do.

And then manipulate the template data to my liking...

Or am I asking for problems?

The one thing I don't like about the section / category is there is NO uncategorized option, so I have to Close and go untoggle CCK mode, then return.

Is there a reason for that as well?

LOVE this software, and looking forward to contributing my first CCK pack.

Hi cubefree

Yes, you are free to copy any Content Type to make your own. However, if you really want to customise then you should look at copying the Field Types as they are the data fields. Content Types are essentially containers of the containers of the data, if you understand what I mean. Whilst you can add, modify or delete the fields within them, by using and modifying (without copying) the supplied field types you are also changing the fields in the content types that use them.

I am not sure why the uncategorized Section and Category are hidden. It is obviously good to have organisation of content/articles, but there may be more of a reason for that. I am sure Bes or Saba will be able to say why.

Hi shivain22

Welcome to the jSeblod CCK forum.

It's always best to start a new post if you have a question which is different from the subject of the thread. That way you have a better chance of your question being seen and answered, but as I cannot move your question from here I will try to answer you here.

The range of content types available when you create a menu item is dependent upon the type of menu you are creating. If you can say what type of menu item you are creating and what type of content type article you are trying to link to, I may be able to say why.

All the best to you with jSeblod CCK.

Peter
