I Have e very important project for a customer, I explain it.
I would like to do a system like this : Open exemple on jSeblod
Or Like this : Very Good exemple

I have tradesmen who have each one a card and 4 panels by card with:

Fist panel :
- Special offers, I think Joomla article linked with the tradesman (who are joomla user)

Second Panel:
- informations about tradesman: opening hours, address, category (joomla cat. : butchery, baker, hairdresser…), name of the contact, etc...

Third Panel:
- GoogleMaps access plan, but I don't how to do with Phoca Maps Plugin Pack

Fourth Panel:
- Photos, max. 10

Each tradesman must be able to modify his card and to manage his offers (joomla articles)
I need a search with : City, region, category of trade

I know I can do this with jseblod, but without tutorial it's very difficult and I have no more time.

Anymore can help me ? I'm ready to take part financially if need, this work is very important for my customer, and it is in more very urgent.

Thank you for all, best regards,

Hi Muadib24,

You are right jSeblod CCK is done to do this.

At first build a content type with all your fields.
Insert panel fields like in panel documentation.
For google map install and use the popular googlemap plugin: extensions.joomla.org/extensions/maps-a-...-locations/maps/1147
To insert the map use the content plugin field type in jSeblod CCK look in forum or www.jseblod-cck.com/documentation/how-to...content-plugins.html

Your questions are welcome.

Best Regards
If you use SEBLOD CCK, please post a rating and a review at the Joomla! Extensions Directory. Thanks to you.!!"

All people here is very nice and I thank you all, but you speak to me as if I were specialist, you do not have the didactic approach essential to the beginner.

Under these conditions, difficult for me, I must stop with jseblod and find another way, may be community builder, or refuse this work.

Best regards

Hello Muadib24 did you find the help you needed? I have similar problem. I have done my research and realize that jseblod is the best cck but without simple instructions I am lost and also don't know where to find paid help for tutorial etc.
Are you still going to use jseblod for your project or flexicontent? I don't think the search filter is advanced in flexicontent.
Warmest
Daviddmf

Hi daviddmf,
I stopped and I contacted a company which will do this part of the site to me with jseblod, they knows it. I await their proposal.
I have tried flexicontent it's less good than jseblod, i think, and not sufficient for my project.

Hello daviddmf and Muadib24,

You two, [just like me], are representative of quite a number of people who sense that jSeblod holds enormous potential and is the right tool for our projects but who, on the other hand, are limited in our programming background and fall a little short in knowhow to grasp this component.
It is clearly stated that this component is for advanced users. In these days where proper documentation is lacking, that is not an understatement as basic Joomla, PHP and overall website management knowledge are definite requirements to get you going up the learning curve by yourself. In my case, I have chosen to raise my skills in those areas so I can really master this "swissknife-type" component and get a cutting edge when Joomla 1.6 will be there.
Observing this forum for about 6 months I sense the following :
Forums where component creators spend so much time are RARE! But as the user base and the number of associated questions are growing, they just cannot get to everyone. I can only hope that with the growing experience of this user base, our questions will be dealt with more and more by our fellow jSeblod users [but we too must play the game]. It is this presence of Seb, Saba, and the moderators, that comforts me in sticking with this component. The lack of ORGANISED documentation [quite a lot is already available through answered questions] is frustrating but not unexpected for a component this young. We can keep a gentle pressure on the development team - and users -- but we certainly cannot blame anyone for this lack! My feeling is that, when there will be documentation, it will not be aimed at pure beginners. As per your requests for paid assistance for an experienced jSeblod specialist, I don't think there are many of them yet. I can suggest 4 paths : 1) a Joomla/PHP experienced programmer could grasp the workings of jSeblod very quickly, you could work hand in hand wih him to both work up the jSeblod working curve. 2) there are quite a few sites where you can post your job tenders to get offers from programmers (remember there aren't that many specialists yet). 3) you could inaugurate the "Service Request" category on this forum. 4) jseblod is a company that creates sites aside from developping this great component, maybe you could simply ask THEM! I consider learning this component a real investment for the future. I too can sense that summer heat is slowing down the response rate to our questions...

Contrary to you both, I do not have customers to contend, only myself. That means I am not time-limited.

All the best, whichever route you choose!

Hello Maudib, I need something really similar to what you describe plus a lot of more feature, if you want we can talk about that and do a more interesting financial offer here, if you want.
