Hello everyone.

I am new to Joomla, and newer to jSeBlod. I need some help regarding users and how it integrates with jSeBlod.

I read on another thread about the display of users, especially the list layout. Now, do you use the Joomla Contact manager, or do you create a jSeBlod category to store your contact profiles?

I have created some custom attribute fields for my articles, if I use those fields in with user content, will they be linked? In other words, if I use the attribute field (Blue) in an article for example, and during registration I ask a user to select his attribute fields (blue again), will the user profile then be linked to the article since it shares the same attribute field value? So, having said that, I can filter all the articles with the "blue" attribute, and all the user profiles with the "blue" attribute since, so it seems, jSeBlod places user profiles in com_content; based on the User List Layout category selection which only shows the categories as created for content.

I also ask this because I can display my users by menu>contacts>contact list and then choose-ing the contact category. But when I try to display that list via jSeBlod new menu items, the user categories/profiles are not part of the selection.

Man that is a mouthful that I hope makes sense

Now, every user has a id right, system id if you will. Can I use that id to automatically enter attribute field values into corresponding attribute fields within an article when the user creates the article? In other words, if the user registered and made a selection of attribute fields like: Brown hair, Capricorn, Male, over-weight. Is it possible to automatically add those fields within the article he creates without the need for the user to select those field attributes again? So the article is created with its title, some attribute fields, plus the user attribute fields.

Again, I hope that question makes sense

AND......how does the User Profile bit of jSeBlod work? Is there a thread or how to that describes it?

Thanks to all.
