Hello friend,
I can't able to use two forms in seblod please help me,

My setting is like that,

For Form 1,
has fields School Name,Board,Address,School City,State

Storage ²

Format / Location- Standard article

I get my form fields in article as,
School Name

Board

Address

School City

State

School Classification - These are my form 1 fields,


but in form 2,
I have fields like institute details,contact,etc.

For Form 2,
Storage ²

Format / Location- Standard article


In my article I am getting

Details
Title *
Alias
Category

Standard article

How can I Retain My form Like that my form 1,Please reply me soon.


I wondering where to save my form and get my form fields in admin.

Hello pandiarajan,

Not sure to understand your issue.

If you look your form on admin side, verify that you have some field in admin view of your content type.

Hello friend,

No,I can't able to add two forms in same form/location in Standard article,Form one works correctly and i can see the fields after submitting my form,but when I create second form,I can't able to see the value in article but it saved in database.

Please refer my attachments,My problem is to create second form.I create both the forms by seeing your video that given by seblod team,My first one works fine but the second was the only problem.

Hello

First of all do not create duplicate posts

Also Read Forum Rules

Your question is already answered in another post. As said earlier, you have created the field from Content Type Manager. If you create field in 'Pad Locked' status, fields will be created exclusively for this content type (form) and will not be available for other forms. In your field settings, see a single line of text after storage option.




Field Storage Format

In SEBLOD we can store fields in 3 format.

1. Custom
2. Standard
3. Json

In most of the cases you need to use only ‘Standard’ Performance will be better if you use Standard. Custom format is used for fieldx & groupx.


Field Creation & Table

We can create Fields from 3 diff screens.
1. Field Manager
2. Content Type
3. Search Type

Lot of users are still have trouble with creating field from ‘Content Type Manager’. In content type manager we can see a pad lock,

 If pad lock is ‘Locked Status’ new fields will be created as Exclusive for This content type. Eg: If I create a field called ‘Image’ with locked mode, field storage will be assigned to new table (__ckk_store_item_content_type_name). This field will not be available on other content types.

 If you created a new field with Pad Lock in ‘Unlock Mode’, field will be stored as per below. And this field will be available for other content type as well

o Article Storage option : __cotnent or __cck_store_item_content
o User Storage Option: __users or __cck_store_item_users


As you cannot get this field in another content type, create a new field with 'Free' storage mode and point to storage table.

Secondly, you need to add field to each tab (Admin/Site/Intro/Content) to get fields on each view.

Hello nithinp,

It is not duplicate posts Still not getting the point,I am not like to create a user I want to create two forms in articles,can it possible.

If I created a new field with Pad Lock in ‘Unlock Mode’, fields are not stored in database.

Hi,

Wht do you mean by creating two form in an article?

Create fields from content type manager and add these field to your form. And then save a a test article.

Hello nithinp,
Both the form data's are stored in database,but I am using Search for both the forms,my first form search results correctly,But in second form search it always return there is no result message though I have data's in form,Searching is not working.

Hi, I think I understand.

Well, for the first issue, the problem is that you are using exclusive fields, so the storage will be different for every content type. You should try to use non exclusive fields when you want it to be in several content types.

The second one is because in every search type there is a CCK field, where you put where the search will be done, so, if you want to manage the two content types in one search type, you must use the same content type for both and conditional fields for the differences.

If not, you need to create one search for every content type, otherwise, you will get no resoults.

Hello,
Thank you for your reply,I create one search for every content type as well,For the first form search works correctly But second one search always return,"There is no result" message always display though i have records in database.I am waiting for your replay.

Hi,

Enable debug and see wether search query return eny values from your database.

What are the fields used in your search form?

PS: You need to create a menu item (List & Search Type) first. If you are using module for search assign to this menu item from module settings.

I have another problem also My article is not published,My form was successfully submitted and article is save like that,'2012-03-31-05-38-58' and status is 'unpublished',Instead of that i would like to have 'School details' and status should be 'published' how can i make that.

Hi,

You need to add Article State field and set live value as 'published'

Fields already available in SEBLOD.

Secondly you need to create a field or use article title field to save article name.

(Standard->Article->title)
