I got a Content Type with several fields, call it "tours", then i make for "tours" Content Type "tours day" with several fields.
Now i wanted to use "tours day" Content Type in "tours" Content Type. So, i maked the groupX field in Content Type "tours" like this:


And in Admin form when i fill all field, I got this:



my question is painted in the picture.
What i do wrong? I cant find any tutorial about groupX field...

Just check it out, if it is css issues. Or try to clear the Cache of browser

Also confirm your SEBLOD version. In my installation, i can see these buttons!!

Regarding your storage (not related to your question), use introtext[your_storage_name]

i think its not a just CSS issues.

Could you tell the step by step how right to make groupX field in content type.. because I have already reworked it many times, but nothing happens...

Hi,

1. Create a new content type (eg: my_day_group)
2. Create & Add fields to all tabs (eg: day_title, day_text, etc)
3. Create a new groupx field (eg: my_dayx) and enter your content type name here (eg: my_day_group)
4. Set storage of this field to introtext[secondrary_storage_name] format. (Eg: custom->article->introtext[my_dayx] )
5. Add this field to our parent content type ( eg: my_tours)

1 create fields you want and for each fields no storage
2 create new form and content type and unpublish it
3 put your fields in this new form and content type (admin, front, intro and content) and save
4 take a copy of code of new form and content type you created (not the name, but alias write it under le name in the list of form and content type)
5 create a new field type groupX and copy the code (alias) of your first form and content type in construction part in type of content (form) field
6 choose an storage
7 save
8 create a new form and content type
9 include your new groupX field in and save
10 test

I have a form. And in that form I have 2 groupX fields. One groupX has 2 fields and the other has 3 fields.

Have created the two content types
1. content type 1 -> form 1 with 2(field_1, field_2) and
2. content type 2 -> form 2 with 3(field_a,field_b,field_c)
with Storage none.

Have created two groupX fields as below:
form1_grp(storage --> Starndard-Article-introtext[form1]),
form2_grp(storage --> Starndard-Article-introtext[form2]),

Have gone thru' the below procedure:
1 create fields you want and for each fields no storage

But when I test it, the values of groupX fields are not stored in the database.

GroupX and fieldX must be store in CUSTOM mode

Why ?

Procedure :

Created the two content types
1. content type 1 -> form 1 with 2(field_1, field_2)
2. content type 2 -> form 2 with 3(field_a,field_b,field_c)
with Storage none.

Created two groupX fields as below:
3. form1_grp(storage --> CUSTOM | Article | introtext[name_you_want]),
4. form2_grp(storage --> CUSTOM | Article | introtext[name_you_want]),

Create forms and put your fieldX where you want

That's all

BTW, I changed storage type of groupX field to CUSTOM | Article | introtext[name_you_want].
Still I am not getting the value.

Should I need to delete the existing field and create again?

Can you explain step by step for creating groupX field please?
