Hi all,

i got the installation running, the problems have been the file permissions. Only on eissue is left ... ithe system couldnt rename or delete the editor.php.
Can someone please tell me wher eits located so i can delete it?

i wanted to install CCK RC4 on my server. I am using the following:
5.1.47-1~bpo50+1
Database Collation: utf8_general_ci
PHP Version: 5.2.12
Web Server: Apache/2.2
Web Server to PHP interface: apache2handler
Joomla! Version: Joomla! 1.5.20 Stable

I downloaded the component and tried to install it the common way via the joomla installer but didnt succeed, so i tried the alternative installation and got the following error:

JInstaller::install: SQL Error. DB function failed with error number 1054
Unknown column 'typography' in 'field list' SQL=INSERT INTO `jos_jseblod_cck_type_item.... here follows the compelte mysql injections)

I checked the database and deleted all CCK tables which were already there and tried to install again and received the following error:

* JFolder::create: Could not create directory
* Template Install: Failed to create directory.: "/is/htdocs/wp1062413_RZ0ZQOZ3U4/www/hotel/templates/advanced_content"
* It was not possible to copy the selected file.
* JInstaller::install: Failed to copy file: /is/htdocs/wp1062413_RZ0ZQOZ3U4/www/hotel/tmp/jseblod_cck/manifest.xml to /is/htdocs/wp1062413_RZ0ZQOZ3U4/www/hotel/administrator/components/com_cckjseblod/manifest.xml
* Component Install: Could not copy setup file

The file permission is set to 775

Hi Ballman,

it took me a while to figure out what caused the problem. Here is step by step what i did.

1. I deleted all tables in the db with cck in it.
2. I changed the file permissions on my server to 777 as 775 didnt work for me
../templates/advanced_content"
../tmp/jseblod_cck/manifest.xml
../administrator/components/com_cckjseblod
3. installing the component the alternative way

Only during the installation the editor.php couldnt be renamed or deleted but it works.
