Hi,

after discovering Seblod for a clients site and after some struggling (nearly finished :-), i wanted to take a dive again for a project for myself.

I'm taking a shot at a kind of directory-site. Of course i tried Sobipro and that has a lot of functions already in it... But i wanted to take a little bit of a different approach so thought why don't i try it with Seblod...

I found the way to let registered users fill in a form (make an entry) just once. And i solved the problem with them editing their own submission (also set this permission in Joomla ACL)... But is there a way to make the link to create an entry disappear after they have already entered (1 or x times).

Or let them know above the form that they can't enter it again?

Now they fill out all the form-fiels and after saving they get the message they can't enter the form.

Any ideas or solutions?

Greetings and thanks,
Joris

Hi Joris,

Can you please give some more details about your problem?  I'm not sure I understand what the entry is for.

thanks,

Randy

"Joris" wants to limit the submission to 1 article/entry.

Further options:
If the user has already made 1 submission, then hide the respective form submission link/button/menuitem.
Or show the user a message/alert that he can't do another form submission.

AH!  So do you mean to limit (1 to X) the number of articles(Content Types) each user may post by either hiding the menu item to create, or generate an error message?  If that's the case is it per category?

Thanks for the clarification...

Thanks Pepperstreet... Yes, i already found the solution to give the user a limit on x times to create an article/content type (in the settings). But people who already have created an article still can fill out the form to create an article. Then after submission they get a message they can't create another article. I would like to let them know before they start creating an article. Or just hide the menu-item that they can click to create an article.

Thanks
