Hello,

I'm new to Seblod and worked for a few days on a form. I want to let registered users create articles for a small private marketplace in frontend.

So I created a form, assigned a few fields and added a submit button at the end. I can open the form in frontend, all fields are there but when I press submit nothing happens. The data will not be stored.

In backend I can create such a form and store it.

What is happenng - or not - in frontend by pressing save button?

Thanks for your help.

Hi,

Maybe you have a mandatory field which is not filled.

What also may happen is there's an error which message is not displayed because of the template you use.

If you can access the form on edition, it means you have the permissions to, so it's not a problem with editing permissions.

You could may be try to remove or put some fields of the form in 'clear' access to avoid them to be loaded and see what happens when you save your content. if it works, publish back one field at a time and keep testing.

Ah, maybe I found a bug. I edited the article with the Joomla built-in edit icon/button on upper right of a article. This is opening the article in edit mode, but I cannot save it.

If I disabled this edit button in the Seblod global settings and added a button within my form, then it works. It is reproducable.
