Im having trouble with editing articles in the front end. When i click the little cog in the article and then click edit it no longer takes me to the form to edit, now it only takes me to the article edit page which only show the fields from the Joomla article (title and Fulltext) that are available. Have i missed a setting somewhere? I have tried logged in as super admin and i still get the same thing. I have also checked all of the Article permissions but cant seem to find why its not going to the form.

Also in the Seblod 'Options>Integration>joomla article> edit link ' I have set Always with SEBLOD.
Anyone have any other ideas for where to look?

Double check you are using the correct template for editing.
Make sure you link has the seblod edit link not joomla
if all else fails try the setup on a new site to test.

Hi Trip, thanks for your help. I'm using seb-one for the Site form and sebMinima for the content. When i create the edit link i use renderfield but I get nothing showing so i have to wrap getLink in a href. This gives me the correct Sebone form except its not prefilled ready for editing.
Id show you the code snippets but i have no idea how to do that in this forum.

OK so i solved this problem. The problem with my self created edit link was that I had used a Text field and not a Free Text Field which was why i couldnt see it. This doesnt solve my problem with the Joomla edit cog only going to edit joomla article instead of seblod article but it does give me a workable solution.

Hi MarcT,
Did you find a solution to the Joomla cog?

Even after changing the Seblod options to always edit in Seblod instead of Joomla it would still take me to Joomla edit screen. The only solution I could find was to build the form again with a different db table name. I'm sure there is a better faster way to fix this but I was pushed for time and couldn't find it so I started the form from the beginning. Sorry I can't be more help.
