Hi all,

i created my content type and added some custom fields both on admin and site forms. Now i would like to add the same fields to content view in order to display them on front-end (only view, no form) but it displays only article title and a 000000 timestamp. I tried to add these fileds first on topbody and after on main body positions, but nothing changed. i have not positions overrides on content folder.

I'm using Joomla 3.3.1 and seblod 3.3.5.

Thanks in advance

Hi X_Ch4n,

If you use the Topbody section, you must also have fields in the Mainbody section.

Check to make sure that there are no fields in the intro section unless you plan on using the read more option.

hope that helps,

Hi X_Ch4n,

How are you displaying the content?  Is there a menu item to a blog layout/article, or are you presenting it with a Search & List Type?

If you are using a Search & List Type, it overrides the the fields of the content type section - and you must define the fields in either the List or item section.

Hi X_Ch4n,

Try adding a Category field, and then use a Category blog menu.  Sometimes a single article will not update, but you can compare with several different versions.  You might be trying to debug something that is working fine...

Hi RAndy,

thanks for your answer. I already have a category into my content type. I modified the menu item type to category blog but nothing appears….

Thanks

Ok, i finally find it.

If u set Show intro text on "show", seblod doesn't fill the "fulltext" sql field with "::cck::11::/cck::" infos, so when you display an article it will show only intro text.

Now, i manually filled the fulltext field, disabled "show intro text" option everywhere and created a new article: it works!!! :D

Thanks a lot
