Hi there,

First of all, sorry if this post is not in the right section.

I would like to know if this is possible to link some content types?

For example:

I have a Content Type "Discs".

I have a second one "Songs".

I would like to link some songs to an album. Is Seblod able to do this? In fact, this is a many-to-many relation (one song can be on several discs, and a disc can have several songs), so I wonder if this is possible to do this.

Note: I don't want to use tags, as it is too generic.

Thanks for your help and answers! :)

Hi JuJ,

To add multiple items, have a look at FieldX and GroupX.  GroupX adds a multiple content type.  Related article might also be a field that you could use.

Also you might find useful the Select Dynamic Cascade field.

regards,

Randy

This is a quite common task.

To get you started, James Morrell has an execellent video on content relationships.

Google search for "seblod content relationship" reveals some helpful links, too.

Hi everyone,

I really like James' video about the creation of One-To-Many relationships.

What I am still struggling with are Many-To-Many relationships.

I followed the approach using field-x shown here:

http://www.seblod.com/v2/forum/Fields--Plugins/32606-SOLVEDUsing-Related-Article-and-Field-X.html#32631

The parent content-type[discs] which contains the field-x works fine. But I don't get a list of disc-objects to show in a child-object[song] although I follow James' and unleash.it's hints (custom storage, same db-column, match collection, live=id)

Any ideas what I am doing wrong?
