Trying to get the condition to work where essentially a field is not visible until another field is answered. I did a fresh install of Joomla 2.5 + Seblod v3 with no other 3rd party plugins installed, but can't seem to get it to work. Since I have no other 3rd party add-ons, it would seem I should not have a JS conflict.  Any one else played with this feature?

For the triggers part, try using "is Equal/In" rather than "is Filled"

That works for me

Yes, that's what I originally had tried, but nothing happens then either. It would seem that the #1 value should be "Hidden" so it's hidden when the form loads, and then visible when the other field is Referal = Other. Hmm...

What kind of field is "Referral"?

It doesn't work for me with Multiple Select, but it does with Simple Select and Checkbox.

It's a radio input field. So I tried a simple dropdown select, but again nada. Hmm...

I tried unchecking the second orange option, but when you return to this field attribute, it's always checked by default. This is so odd. I have tried every browser and cleared cache and cookies, etc: FF, Saf, Chr and NONE of them show the condition's effect working. I have also tried Mootools Enabler/Disabler to see if it would make the difference.

Any clue or direction is appreciated. I'm using J2.5.11 with Seblod 3.1.11. This is a very clean install. The only third party plugin installed is JCE.

Are we talking about the back-end? I have prolems in frontend. But in the backend i got it to work...

Could you put  #form# in the box after fade.... i deleted that at first, but thought i would let that stay there and maybe that was it that got it working.

Yes, I was referring to the front-end. But per your suggestion, I tried it in the back-end as well. Neither one works. I have tried all the templates provided with Joomla. The "trigger" field is a radio box. I tried making it a select simple drop-down. That did not work either.

I did find a YouTube video regarding Conditional Fields -- unfortunately for me it's in German. You know if we do live more than once ... I 'd like to come back as a German for the great education, healthcare, and damn good Techno -- if it's still popular then.
In any case, I watched the video ... I am doing the same things. Just not sure if there is some other switch that must be ON in some hidden admin area. Or my template is missing some critical system file.
Hmmm ... not sure what to say ... except some Italian: a poopi poopi a double scoopi.

Hello! Alas, I figured it out. Finally. OK, my bad I edited the file:

Actually, I saved  /templates/seb_one/fields/_markup.php as "markup.php", and then edited it. I edited the file because I wanted the field description above the field, label and value. Seb_one template does not have a control for ABOVE. I will ask make this question a new post.

Also for your reference:

And here's an old article on it: http://www.seblod.com/v2/support/tracker/5093-markup-php-javascript-for-conditonal-fields.html

And an old forum post: http://www.seblod.com/v2/forum/105-General-Discussions/41808-Conditional-States--Trigers-in-Custom-Templates-NOT-WORK.html#42086

Thanks for your help.
