Hi, I have a best practice question. When you have fields used by more than one content type (e.g., address fields), is it better to make exclusive for each content type or general for use by all content types? And what is the reason? Thanks in advance.

My opinion - better to make exclusive for each content type
Why? If field for all TC, all TC must use him (title, date, catid...). Else in table #_cck_store_item_content there will be many empty cells.
It's also good if you make your own APP

Thanks for your perspective. When would you use the capability for general fields? Or would you never use?
