Is the Menu item field (CCK Field - JForm Menu Item) able to generate items in Menu (navigation)?

So when i build content, can i add a menu item directly in cck form?

Whould be awesome. But unfortunately there is absolutly no documentation. How so save this field?
When i add this field i can choose parant item in dropdown...but nothing happen.

Actually seblod really needs a basic documentation. Or automatic choosing where to save the field.
A "normal" user doesnt know where every field is perfectly saved in database.
