I have created a database of reports and publications but would like to have an image in the list of documents...
In another database I solved this by simply uploading images that were then rendered in the list, but this forced the user to upload images separately (e.g. converting the frontpage to a jpg).
Is there any way to automate this process? For example, if you upload a PDF you automatically get an image of the documents frontpage in the list.
Any help on this would be greatly appreciated!

we have no feature out of the box for that, but if you have imagick on your server, you can do it in a afterstore event.
Imagick can do that for you.

Thanks! Imagick is indeed installed on my server... I am however a bit at loss on how to make it work...
Do you know if there are any instructions available on using Imagick with seblod for dummies as myself?

there is nothing on Octopoos or SEBLOD side.
You can find some example on the Imagick page
and find other example on your favorite search engine.
