Hi amitomj,

Thank you for your message.

Please check the permissions of the "tmp" folder in your server.

Mehdi

Hi amitomj,

In this case, check the "export" permissions of the content type you want to export.

In order to reach the permissions of a content type

  1. click on the arrow at the bottom right of the content type header
  2. click on button "permissions"

J3.4.0 + S3.5.1

I am working on localhost too. And I get:

Error

You are not allowed to access this file.

That is in download mode. My permissions say that I as the super user can do anything. So why am I not allowed to export? cheers

Hi,

Try to check the content of the folder "tmp" in your laptop. You will find the csv file.
That's mean the export process works fine. The problem is on the permission on the file may be.

I'm sure if you try to move your website on the real server, you will avoid this issue.

Let us know.

Regards,
Mehdi.

Hi Everyone,

Can you say us what is the value of setting Mode and Path on the configuration of the add-on SEBLOD exporter?

Regards,
Mehdi.

I found the solution to my problem.

The path to the tmp directory in the main configuration file was using a symbolic link. Joomla had no problem with it. As soon as I changed the configuration to the real tmp path, no error occured during export.
