I've added the article tags field to my custom article content type both in the site form and content panels.

If I add tags to the content type and then save, I get the following url: http://myadminpanel?option=com_cck.

No parameters after com_cck.  And the page shows and empty

    list??

If I manually go back into the admin panel and look inside the content piece I created, the tags exist there, but when I click save (or save & close) I am redirected to the same com_cck url with nothing on the page except an empty

      .

I tried setting the php errors to max to see if anything came through but I don't see any fatal errors.  Just seems like a very strange redirection upon save.  How do I fix??

      Thanks!

I should also mention that I still have the default "Article" content type and when I add tags / save in those content pieces, I am returned to the normal http://myadminpanel?option=com_content page.

If I remove the Article tags field from the content type I am able to create, edit, save as normal.

Are you using already made "article tags" field or did you create new one with different storage?

Tags problems will be fixed in upcoming 3.8 release, but storage should always be Standard-article-tags or one should just use article tags field that is already available.

Ive updated to Seblod 3.8 in hopes of this fixing the save issue.  I am still receiving an error however.  See attached for new message (Class TagsHelperRoute not found)

Hi,

I just tried various combinations of joomla and seblod before/after update to 3.8 and it worked ok for me, so this must be some error related to your specific setup:

  1. which php version do you use?
  2. Did you create new JForm-Tags field or do you use article tags field?
  3. Also please try updating again in case some files did not install correctly
