Would you add a link to the profile of each author or display only the article of the logged user ?

I have the same problem, how can i remove this ugly article id in the url? How does this work in this forum? I mean, if this would be the actual user id, i'd have no problem with it - but the article id is stupid ... i'd had to create some sql request with the article author and the user category id, limit one result ... something like that and just because it create the article id as alias in the url (don't ask me why).

You can concat this, just set up a field like this in your user registration form: http://i.epvpimg.com/MEtJf.jpg

But how would you remove the articles ID's? Why are they even there...?

while the "/parent/alias" the "nomesite/users/uriel2"  ?!?
