I hope sombody could help me. I created a form with a text-field, a field with Email Function and a submit button. The Mailserver in Joomla is working correctly.
Everything works correct, the fields Storage / Location is set to none, In the Frontend seems everything working correctly. By clicking the Submit-Button, I get the Message: "succesfully saved". But I don´t get an Email.
Has anybody an idea to solve this?

ich hoffe, mir kann jemnad bei meinem Problem helfen. Ich habe ein Formular erstellt, zum Testen ein Feld mit einer Texteingabe, ein Feld vom Typ Email und einen Submit Button. Ich habe auch alle Einstellungen vorgenommen, wie sie in diversen Foren und Tutorials dargestellt sind. Die Berechtigung für Public passt auch. Mein Mailserver ist auch korrekt eingestellt, d.h. aus Joomla heraus funktioniert das Versenden von Mails.
Das Einzige, was ich nicht verstehe ist im Feld vom Typ Email das Auswahlfeld Sendmail. Hier wir empfohlen, dass man Submission auswählen soll. Ich habe ein deutsches sprachpaket installiert und da gibts zur Auswahl Niemals, Immer Workflow Hinzufügen und Bearbeiten. Egal welche Einstellung ich hier vornehme, im Frontend passiert dann folgendes: Ich klicke auf den submit button, es erscheint : Nachricht succesfully saved. ABER es kommt keine Email bei mir an. Alle Felder wurden auch auf beim Feld Speicher auf Kein gesetzt (im Englischen ist es das Feld storage/Format/Location =None)
Jemand eine Idee, warum die Mail nicht gesendet wird? Ach ja, die Email senden an habe ich auch richtig einegeben.
Würd mich über Antworten freuen.
You probably missed some configuration detail, Joomla is pretty strict about sending emails - all fields need to have correct values.
Hi Klas, thank you very much for your answer. I think, i followed all the instuctions but i don´t get the mails. I tried several settings in the configuration of joomla email (php-mail, smtp) and both are working.When I send a test mail, i will receive it. But not the Mails sent with Seblod.
Please have a look at my screenshots, maybe you´ll see something wrong.
First is the result in frontend after submit, second backend seblod, third backend seblod Field Mail, and last is frontend before submitting.

Sorry for that, i thought, that the most important field ist the send
email....now you´ll find the whole configuration of "Mail"
Only thing that comes to my mind is that some hosting providers don't allow sending emails under another name, try if it works if you set From Name to Default instead of using made up name
