I had my form working perfectly but now everytime i add a new item using either the admin form or the front end form it makes two articles. When i look at the database it enters two entries into the jos_content and nothing into the jos_cck_form_XX even though there should be entires here. Looking at the articles, one is OK and the other is unpublished with created date at zeros, created by at zero and state as -2.
Does this give anyone a clue as to what i might have done wrong here because i am baffled.

Check all Joomla system such as database in extension manager.

It all went very strange and i almost threw in the towel with Seblod but first i restored the site to before Seblod and tested after every step as i reinstalled and set up again. It would appear the problem came from either
A. creating a simple select which was set to storage STANDARD>FREE>jos_content>catid or
B. creating a textarea which was set to storage STANDARD>FREE>jos_content>fulltext
Changing them to just STANDARD>ARTICLE>catid seems to have fixed it but in my mind they should do the same thing. Then again I am just learning this tool.
Hopefully I am back on track until the next issue arises. Thank you for responding though. Back to Seblod school for me.
