When I add a new article from the frontend to a custom content type, the template override I've created for the form displays as intended:

Nevertheless, when I return to that same article from both the front or the backend, the default Article layout form loads instead:

Have no clue why this mixup happens.

The &type= parameter is missing from the URL in edit view. Still have no clue why.

I don't know what the issue is that you're having but I would really like to know how you made those TABs. That form looks very nice.

As I see it, the participants are not in a hurry to help ...
Faced with the same situation (Joomla! 2.5.6 + SEBLOD 3.1.4) - search for solutions so far without result.
