Is it possible to have a seblod form be loaded into a position (Top C) of a content type. Basically I want to create items to be displayed and have the ability for someone fill out a seblod form inquiring about that item.

Hello EclipseMedia, yes you can. There is a "build-in" method by utilizing a Joomla module, which displays a certain Seblod form.

But there is a more convenient way to accomplish it. This requires the following commercial addon:

SEBLOD Form & List Pack (2 plug-ins)

Hence the related tutorial link on the product page.

A different use case, but with similar logic can be found in the Comments App.
Here is a quickstart guide for that App to give you a brief idea.

Good luck!

So I installed this plugin. I then created a new Form. Then I went back into the Content type and I want to add the form to Top C position. I am a bit lost on what to do. I tried creating a new field called Seblod Form. but there is no spot to select my form.

Hi

I can provide a screen shot later but in the list of available fields you can create there shoukd be something like:

SEBLOD

     Form

     List

Choose 'form' and there will be a place to enter the machine name of your form ie 'my_form'. I think it is 'value', can't remember right now.

Hope that assists before you get a deeper answer

Hello again, I know what you mean. It is somewhat confusing. There is no easy "selectbox" or listing of your forms/content type names.

Hence the Comments App QuickStart Guide: See step #4 and screenshot #3. The plain input fields "Default Value" is the crucial part! Enter your "inquiry form" name.

I ran into a new issue. For some reason when I do load a form into the content position using the

SEBLOD Form & List Pack (2 plug-ins) When I view the content type article on the front end, I need to login in order to view the article. Where do I change form permissions so the public will see it.

UPDATE FIX

I needed to edit the Form permissions (little yellow down arrow at the far right and click Permissions) and had to set both Public and Guest to Allowed to create Form. Hope this helps others
