Hi diogowernik,

One way is to modify the existing user form.   Another method is to export/import information.  Do you have a specific idea on what you want to accomplish?

thanks,

Hi Randy,

Really thanks for the answer. Im thinking on export/import metod, i saw here that you guys have this export plugin, i would like to know if it would fit my need before buying.

Thats why im here on the forum :)

I have a very clear idea of what i want to accomplish.

I have a site with specific users list, and users profiles, i used a diferent component to do that (Community Builder)

User lists examples:

http://yogabrasilia.org/professores-de-yoga-em-brasilia
http://yogabrasilia.org/iyengar-yoga-em-brasilia

Profiles examples:

http://yogabrasilia.org/andrea-hughes/
http://yogabrasilia.org/daniella-caribe/

I would like to migrate this profiles and userlists to seblod profiles and user lists, because look like that with seblod i will have more flexibility and resources, also multisite structure.

Also This profiles have conditional fields, that depending on the field that the user select, it apear other diferent fields and possibilities, or not.

Is that possible with seblod? Would exporter/importer tools help me on that?

Thanks

Hi,

you can certainly replicate the look of the profiles there, but for data migration - this will be harder. You would most likely need a custom script to do this as importer-exporter is for basic Joomla/Seblod only, it will not export CB profiles. For this script you can contact Octopoos to give you a quote http://www.seblod.com/contact

Hi,

thanks for the answers, i will try a little before getting a quote for that script. I just bought exporter tool.

how i use that to create seblod profiles for already existing joomla users? I could not do that. Only for users hat where created after seblod install.

thanks

You can export users, then delete them in joomla and import again, this should create new type of seblod users for all imported ones.

Hi,

I tried that, but i the site that i dont have users created with seblod i get error.
If i have users created with seblod and users created before seblod, it export only seblod users, not all joomla users.

thanks

FYI - there is CBjuice for export. It creates a CSV file.
