Do the reported bugs actually get solved? Or is at least someone looking at that list at all? There are open bugs older than one year ... Why should we report bugs if they are ignored anyway? Very strange.

Hi carin,

Thank you for your post.  If you dont bother reporting issues, then its pretty much guaranteed that they wont get fixed at all.  Everyone is working very hard at Octopoos to make SEBLOD a great product.  In the tracker, there is a comment section for others to provide their thoughts as well.  If an issue has a very popular response then there is a far better chance it will be fixed sooner.  Sometimes new issues get moved in front of older issues because they are more important (ie security issue).

You can check the change logs to see that there is very active.

regards,

Randy

Hi, thanks for the quick reply. I only wish the more important and crucial questions would be answered with the same attitude :)

I guess almost nobody is voting on the issues becaiuse that tracker is very good buried in the footer if Im not mistaken.

I posted bugs already - that is why I was curious if it makes any sense to continue.

Compared with the tracker list the change log looks pretty empty, but surely progress is visible.

Hi carin,

We are working on answering all questions in a timely manner.  In some cases it takes a while for us to setup our environment to emulate the issue someone poses.  But we are trying to make things better.

If you have feature requests for the fourm - add them to the tracker :)  We can not guarantee that they will be added, but if you don't ask it wont happen...
One thing for sure, searching the forum for feature requests or issues to be fixed will not happen.

There are lots of thing that we want to accomplish, but it all takes time and everyone has pressing projects.

regards,

Randy
