I have set the Joomla User.Article bridge to assign newly created use profile articles to the Public access level.

Strangely, however, unregistered users are still unable to to view the user profile articles

I have checked permissions all across Joomla and Seblod and dod not find anything suspicious.

Hi,

you need to set default access in CCK Storage Location - Joomla! User plugin

It is already set that way, hence my report.

I tested and it works ok for me. Few things to consider:
  • This will only work for new users , the ones that were created before this option were set will remain restricted, you need to check it in article manager if you haven't already.
  • Also there is access level set on the users category
  • and on each fields in user content type -> content tab (if you click on number 4 on the right)

Turns the category access level was indeed set to Registered.
Thanks!

Glad you could solve it.

On the right side of your first post is a tick that you can click to mark the topic as solved. Then it will appear green in the forum overview.
