Ok, any idea why my the Content View on Articles is requiring a user login?  All fields are set to public, article access is public, featured, published.  Site is set to public. The Intro View displays fine.

Hi joem,

What was the last thing that you changed?  How are you navigating to the content view?  Also check that the settings are PUBLIC and not Guest.

Did you make any changes to your access levels / user groups - recheck.

In the Content Type, there is a orange chevron in the lower right hand corner of the Title section - check Permissions.

Also check menu, category and search type permnissions (click on orange arrow on the right top side)

Turns out there was a Search List module inserted into the Content View display who's premissions were restrictive.
