Hi all,

I busted my head trying to find the cause for the error "Uncaught ReferenceError: JCck is not defined"

The page works fine (as far as I can tell), I just get this error warning in the Chrome Console on the bottom of the browser.

Any help/clues would be very, very appreciated...

Thanks!

Hi Klas,

I get the error on the front-end, only on the HomePage.
I see it in the Chrome Console (You can see the screenshot here: http://s15.postimg.org/rqenhd5uz/error.jpg)

Thank you for the help :)

Hi maros174,

What versions Joomla/SEBLOD are you running?  Is this on a local server or host?

Is this a new site or have you upgraded this site?

thanks,

Hi Randy,

I'm using Joomla 3.2.3 & SEBLOD 3.2.2

It's a new site, on a host. I'm using a heavily modified YooTheme DRIVE template.

Thanks!

Mario

Hi Mario,

It may be that SEBLOD did not install properly.  How did you install ( from web or file)?  Try installing again over the current version.

thanks,

Randy

Hi Randy,

I installed it from a file. Also, I just tried what you suggested, I downloaded the newest version of seblod (3.3.3.) and installed it over the previous one I had. It did not help... I'm still getting the error...

thanks,

Mario

Hi Mario,

Have you checked the order of the plugins to make sure that SEBLOD is first?  Do you get this error with any other templates?

thanks,

Randy

Hi Randy,

I double checked. Yes, SEBLOD is positioned first, above all other content plugins.

If we don't manage to solve it - can you tell me how serious is this error, what does it impact? Can I just ignore it?

Thanks

Mario

Have you tried using default joomla template? Some templates try too much and remove script output from extensions.

Hi Klas,

website is currently more than 95% finished... it took me almost 5 months to make it, so the only real option for me is to stick with the current template and try and fix it somehow...

I tried Joomla default template at the beginning, and did not notice any errors. I also didn't notice the error during the first two months of development using the current template so it's a possibility that it emerged sometime during development...

thanks

Hi,

I'm not sugegsting you should use different template, just that you should try if it works with default joomla template - then your template is the one to look into to find the cause of a problem, usually it can be resolved by adjusting template options

Hi all,

@Klas: I switched over to some other templates I have installed, and I did not get the error... it seems that it is some issue with the template I'm using...

@pretobrazza: I'm using NoNumber Advanced Module Manager

@Codiigo Alberto: It's Warp 6.4 (Drive template)

Thank you all for your help

Hi Mario?

On one website I had similar problems, I loaded the uninstall unit(plugin) from Nonumber and uninstalled (removed) everything from nonumber. Thereafter I reinstalled nonumber with the latest version. Did you try this yet?  (The {} codes in the articles won't be removed by unistalling nonumber and will be picked up and work again once you reinstall it  ..)

On the other hand, on another website with a Warp 6.x setup, Codigo Alberto helped me tremendously with problems I had out there with scripts being loaded wrongly etc.
