Hi @all,

In my Seblod Adventure, i meet a new ... pitfall.

Some articles are reserved for register users.
In front-end, guest visitor can't see this articles, but... is it possible to show a message instead of "nothing" ? like "create a account link".

Thank you for your help

Hi psykopathick,

You can create an article, module, or menu for that specific user group (guest) just by setting up the user rights.

Is that what you mean?

Hum... yep i know :)
It's a native Joomla rule.

I will try to be more clear.
- I create a seblod article
- I use "access level" to configure it for register user
- In front-user, visitor can't see this article = blank ! They can't see it an article existe

So, i would to know, if in seblod, i can create a "special field".
If user connected > show article
If user is a visitor > show message

Sorry for my bad english :/

Hi,

you can set permisisons by field (button 4), so in your content type you could set all fields but one to registered and one with message to public

Hi,

Yes, but public is also visible for registered :/
So, i have to create a special template for public, and for registered ?
Because, sometimes my article is visible for everyone, and sometines, just for members.

Sorry, my mistake, the right level for guest is, well..Guest :)    Public incldues registered, while Guest equals NOT registered users.

For example :
use introtext for guest
and fulltext for registered

and with a php condition:

if user = guest > show introtext
else = show fulltext

Hi psykopathik,
thank you for your suggestment.
Right know I'm yet using Introtext for Seblod Lists & Searches, so the question is on the same Fulltext content like:

Introtext: aaa = Public content

Fulltext: aaa + bbb/ccc
where aaa = Public content and bbb = Guests, while ccc = Registered
