Hi
Is it possible to use a SEARCH GENERIC field that searches not on the value of the other fields but on the displayed text ?
for instance we have a SELECT DYNAMIC field that displays (text) companies names and stores (value) the ID of each company
if we use the SEARCH GENERIC field we can only search on the value (the ids) not the names of the companies
I feel it can't be done without an additional JOIN since searching on the TEXT of a select dynamic field means searching on the title (#__content table) where the ID matches the value of the select dynamic field
How could it be done please?
