I have a Joomla 3.6.5 with Seblod 3.10.0 running stable php 5.6
I am first upgrading Seblod and other 3rd party extensions.
When I upgrade Seblod, however I get this error:
Call to undefined method JApplicationAdministrator::isClient() in/home3/wcimain/public_html/_j396/plugins/system/cck/cck.php on line35
I have tried uninstalling seblod first then reinstalling pkg_seblod_3.17.4.zip but still get the error ... ideas? suggestions? ... I've already smashed my recycling bottles. Hmm...

You need to upgrade your Joomla, 3.6.5 is an ancient version
I tried that as well. Then I get errors from all the 3rd party extension (3PE). I was told that upgrading 3PEs was the first order of business. Then Joomla, then PHP. This seems the biggest problem with Joomla and I can see why many went to WordPress.
In fact, I am really hoping Seblod Army will make this component for WP. It's amazing in many ways, but Joomla seems like divergent mess at times. WP upgrades are a snap.
Can I upgrade Joomla to 3.7 or other older version first ... for a better result?

From Joomla 3.6.5 with Seblod 3.10.0, I will update Joomla first, then SEBLOD, then others extensions.

And if does not work, you will need to do in in multiple steps, so that you do not go directly to latest version - you first udate Joomla to some higher version than Seblod and so on until you reach latest versions of both. YOu will need to experiment a bit and proably also search in the release logs as sometimes new Seblod version was released for compatibility with certain Joomla version.

So I started to do this in succession, upgrade first to J3.7.0, the Seblod 3.11.
I went to the Blog page for Seblod 3.11, https://www.seblod.com/community/blog/new-release-seblod-3-11.
However, notice the Download button for version 3.11. The name of the file downloaded is: pkg_seblod_3.17.4.zip <-- this is the latest version?!
So where do I find older Seblod versions?
A belated thanks to Sebastian and the Seblod team who helped upgrade my site when nothing was working.
I paid them and was glad to! They did an awesome job and it was under budget.
