Hello,
After updating to joomla 3.5.1 and seblod 3.8.3 users are unable to login to the front and backend of the website.
The only users with access are users who are superadmin.
When logging in to the frontend the users gets succesfuly authenticated by the joomla authentication plugin.
But still the following error appears:
Warning U dont have access to the private area of this website Message to visit this page u need to login first
This happens to both new users and existing users.
It seems to fail at allowing the user access to the private part of the website.
I'm running out of ideas, could anyone point me towards some more test / maybe a solution?
This is not something common, so I would suggest you check your permissions and view levels set on the menu and content type. Also it depends how you have set your redirect after login, perhaps they don't have access to that page.
I have located the problem, its in the assets table. the com_user component had a parrent_id of 0
