Hi,
I purchased the Exporter add-on and it works fine on the back end.
However in the live demo there is the ability to configure a CSV Export button on the front-end to export the content of a list.
How to configure that export button?

Also would like to know details about frontend usage, access restriction and security.
The current product page does not provide infos, except for global settings and backend screens.

Hi,
for the front end you need to add it to the content tab of your content type. As with all fields you can configure access by clicking on number 4 on the right side of content type editor (Acess + Restriction)

Hi,
it turns out my answer wasn't entirely correct, here is more information:
The field needs to be assigned to the "Search Form" of the Search Type. "Export" button is a "button_submit" field type. From the field parameters you can select "Exporter" as task and then choose one existing session (the session must be created from the Exporter back-end first...)
And about security - as written there is permisison on the field itself, but you also need to set the permissions of the Content Type (depending of the Content Items they have on the List) - there is an "Export" permission there
