I have tried to add the JText at the subject field of the email field plugin, but it doesnt work. I get always the JText instead of the translation. Is it not possible to use JText in the subject field????
I use an language override. All other fields of this field plugin will be rendered.
Has someone the same problem.

Hello Klas,
of course!! I use the JText function for all content types and everthing works fine. I also use the HTML option of the email field plugin with JText and it also works quite well. The problem is only at the field "subject" which is sent as the email header. This field ist in the configuration of the email field plugin.

Additional information:
I have added the language overrides to both: administrator and site!!!
The override looks like this: COM_CCK_NEWMESSAGE="New message"
I have tried COM_CCK_NEWMESSAGE and NEWMESSAGE in the subject field but it output only the JText and not the translation.

Problem solved: I have to put J(NEWMESSAGE) instead of NEWMESSAGE into the subject field. Now it works.

How can I use JText in the attributes setting of the field?
