Hello everyone,

I’m trying to build a research form which could lead to different lists, on the basis of a choice in the research form... Is it possible ? If yes, how ?

Thanks by advance,

Hi,

Sorry, I wasn’t really clear. In fact, on one hand, I have 3 different lists. On the other hand, I have this search form. In this form, users will have to choose between 3 options (probably with a selection list or something like that) and this choice will determine in which list the results will be displayed.

I hope it’s a little more clear ?

I know it’s not how list & search are supposed to work (normally, one list goes with one search), but for some reasons I need to make it and I was wondering if seblod could do it.

Thanks for reading,

Hi MVDI,

To implement the feature you described you need to have more information about the 3 lists.

Moreover, with SEBLOD you can define one search type for 3 kinds of lists. It's depends on the nature of the elements of each list.

You can also define 3 modules for your 3 lists and a simple form (not necessary a search form). When you choose an option in the form you can display iby javascript the right module (list).

Mehdi.

I am just setting this up and passing the value of my main search form to a list that sets its values from the search keyword in the url.

All works well except the list shows items by default.

I could hide it and show it by javascript which is what I think medhi suggests.

But is there a way of having a search list show no values until one is supplied through a URL?
