Change with php the search query - "List & Search Types"

Hello, 

I have a complex search form. 

For this reason, I should change the search query based on the form parameters (input form) 

because it is impossible build a only query. 

Is it possibile change the search query of a "Lists&Search Types", for example, using the plugin "Code Pack (5 plug-ins)" to use php code directly, or is there a another away? 

I've normaly used this plugin for "Form & Content Type" but I don't know if "beforestore" or "beforerender" are usefull also for change the query of "List&Search" before to search. 

Can you help me to understand what I have to study?
