Displaying a free content type

Hello,

I made successfully a FREE content type and its search list. (free means it's not an article and all fields are stored in a free table )

I can display the form and the list but I cannot create a link or a menu item to the content (the view) of this content type.

I think the URL is something like this : index.php?option=com_content&view=SOMETHING&id=3 SOMETHING here is not 'article' but what?
