Hi Sebloders

I have just noticed that it seems position overrides do not take effect with Seblod List template....

Is this the way it is or am I missing something obvious?

Thanks

That would be correct, see manual.

Only thing that is possible with lists is to override item template, e.g. when you use seb blog or seb list in advanced-item mode, you can override template for each item shown.. Easiest way to get around this is to create own list template.

Hi

To summarise for myself....

So it is all about the advanced mode which generates an item view by using a different template -  which then gives access to overrides

Hi Klas,

Where is this Advanced Mode that you speak of? I don't see it and I don't see where is the advanced mode documented in the link you provided. If I also understand you correctly, I am looking to override the Seb_List template, however the Seb_List template doesn't have an Item View or give an Item View option.

Are you saying that we can create overrides for only Seb_List and create overrides in the list view of this template? Please provide detailed instructions because I can't find anything regarding this and I really need to customize how the list view will look for my use case. I also tried to create an override using the same method documented however, I am unable to see any results. Thanks so much for your time.

Hi

In your Search & List Type....

View = Search Form | Ordering | List | Item

Option = Configuration | Fields | Templates

At the bottom, there is the area called Style

You the option to set the Display....

This option is to get past not being able to do position overrides in List view, only item.

Hi Bucklash,

Thanks for the prompt response. I have now set it to the Advanced Item View mode.

Will this allow us to also create template overrides also? I am trying to create an override for mainbody.php in the seb_minima Item View template but it appears to not work.

Hi

It should do...

Have you got any overrides to work at all?

What file structure have you got, how does it compare to the Seblod Tut's?

Ahhhhhh. I used the plural version of the folder name instead of singular. My apologies. You're right it does work! Perfecto!
