Form
Autosave: Enables or disables the feature to automatically save the contents of your form every X minutes.
Autosave Interval: Set the value for X - the number of minutes between each autosave.
Computation format: Set the formatting for numbers when using the computation rules. (e.g. 1,200.84 or 1 200.84 or 1.200,84)
Computation format (output): Toggle whether or not to apply the computation format to the result of a computation rule.
Default author: Select the use who will be used as the default author of all content if no art_created_by field is present in the form.
Validation: Select which mode of validation should be used in your content submission forms (Admin and Site forms)- PHP, JS, Both or None
  • Client (JS): Select this option to apply the form validation with javascript. This validation mode prevents the form submission if an error occurs. With this mode, you can make any corrections without losing any other data entered on the form and then press submit again.
  • Server (PHP): Select this option to apply the form validation with PHP after form submission. If this checking mode fails then the user is redirected to the same page with an error message. becareful, you can loose some other data that you had already entered with the form.
  • Both: Select this option to apply the previous validation mode (RECOMMENDED).
  • None: No validation is applied so any data can be entered by the user and saved to the database (NOT RECOMMENDED).
Validation position: Choose between some position styling options for the validation error messages.
Validation prefix: Enter some characters to precede the validation error message.
Validation scroll: Toggle whether or not to automatically scroll to the first field with a validation error when a form is sent for submission.
Validation background color: Enter a background color to use behind the validation message.
Validation color: Enter a color to use for the validation message text.
List
Pagination: Set the number of articles to appear per page on your list pages. This can be overridden in in the configuration of each List and Search Type individually.
Prepare output: Toggle whether or not to prepare each list item with Joomla! content plugins - for example, if this is set to "yes" you will be able to use the syntax to load modules in your list items. We recommend disabling this option and only enabling it for specific lists in the list configuration for better performance.

Component

App folder
Append date: Automatically add the date to the end of your app folder name during export.
Append version number: Automatically add the version number to the end of your app folder name during export.
Construction

Construction Mode: here you can choose the way you create/edit your fields. You have the following options:

  • Standard: default for basic use. Field name cannot be changed after creation of the field to prevent broken dependencies (other fields, conditional states and so on reference fields by name).
  • Standard+: like Standard but you can change the field name after field creation.
  • Advanced: it is a mode that guides you to properly fill title, label and storage providing two main input parameters - the first one is typically the content type name and the second one is the field name, which will automatically fill the label and storage name. Note that with this mode, changing the type of the field will not empty label and storage field names.
  • Development: like Advanced but adds for super users the possibility of defining the storage of development fields.
Construction prefix: Enter some text that will be automatically added before the names of your Folders, Content Types, Search and List Types and Fields. We suggest to have your own unique prefix for all of your projects.
Custom attributes: Set the number of custom attributes that are available for fields such as the Checkbox field, Select field, Radio field etc.
Development
Development storage: Available only for Super Users. Select Yes To Enable Development Storage. The kind of storage is used to define the storage of development fields. With this mode you can edit the name of fields which is usually "read-only" after the field is saved.
Versions
Automatic Versions: Choose how frequently to generate a new restorable "version" of your Content  or Search Types
Version before restoring: Toggle whether or not to create a version of the current form directly before reverting to a previous version

Language

Language (Multilingual)
JText: Toggle whether to use JText on Labels and Select Labels in order to have multiple language translations on your website.
Translate SEBLOD: Download the language files for SEBLOD Core to make a new translation.

Media

Media (Legal extensions)
Allowed case: Depending on your setting, file names will be renamed to the case that you have selected.
Allowed characters: If certain characters are not allowed, they will be removed from the file name on upload.
Allowed paths: This is a list of allowed paths or directories from where you allow the user to download a file from, using the task=download&file=*path* method. By default, only the /tmp directory is allowed.
Archive Extensions: Enter the archive file extensions that are permissible for upload (comma separated - both lower and uppercase)
Audio Extensions: Enter the audio file extensions that are permissible for upload (comma separated - both lower and uppercase)
Document Extensions: Enter the document file extensions that are permissible for upload (comma separated - both lower and uppercase)
Image Extensions: Enter the image file extensions that are permissible for upload (comma separated - both lower and uppercase)
Video Extensions: Enter the video file extensions that are permissible for upload (comma separated - both lower and uppercase)
Common Extensions:
"Preset X" Extensions / Label: Define a set of permissible extensions and give it a label

Multi-sites

Multi-sites System
Multi-sites System: Toggle whether or not to enable the SEBLOD Multi-sites System.
Permissions: Because SEBLOD multi-sites system is based on the Joomla! ACL (different user groups and access levels for different sub-sites), this setting is only to change the initial setup of a new site using multi-sites. We suggest to keep this as the default setting.
Options: Here you can set certain parameters that will be available throughout your multi-site sub-sites. For example, you can set a value that can be used as a live value to any form to determine which sub-site you are on. A full explanation of these options is available in this tutorial.

Permissions

Default permissions
Here you can set the global permissions for different user groups to perform certain actions. These settings can be overridden in the configuration of your individual Content Types.

Site

Site (Front-end)
Debug: Choose to display SQL query and other relevant debugging information in the front end of your website. You can choose to display this for only Super Users, to Everyone, or not at all.
Hide the edit icon: Toggle whether or not to show the Joomla! native edit article icon in the front end of your website in the Content view.
Responsive (RWD): Toggle whether or not to enable SEBLOD Responsive Templating support. If set to "Yes" an additional style sheet containing media queries will be loaded that will enable fluid grid support for SEBLOD cck-fl div classes.
SEF: Change the default URL routing format for SEBLOD content links. If you change this it is advised to use the SEBLOD - Breadcrumbs module (installed with SEBLOD by default) instead of the Joomla! Core breadcrumbs module.
SEF (Canonical URLs): Toggle whether or not to automatically add a canonical URL to the head of your page. If you use the SEBLOD SEF routing, you should keep this set to "No" and instead use the Canonical URL Field available on the SEBLOD Store.
Scripts & Styles
Modal Box Style: Choose the style of modal box used with the Image Typography Plugin.
CSS Definitions: Choose whether to load some additional stylesheets in the front end. Selecting "Custom" will give you options to select a combination of Base, Margin & Padding, and Text & Font.
CSS Stylesheets: SEBLOD includes some additional css files that help to style different views on your site. These additional css files include cck.css, cck-item.css, cck-list.css, cck-search.css, cck-intro.css, cck-content.css, cck-admin.css and cck-site.css. Choosing 'base' will load the cck.css file on all of your views. Choosing "all" will load every view's css file. If you choose "all" under a specific view will load the view's css file as well as the base css file. If you select "specific" it will just load that view's css file, and not the base file. This setting can be overriden on each of your forms or lists individually in the template options.
CSS: Enter some CSS code directly in this field that will be included on all of your website pages. Do not include style tags at the start and end.
JS: Enter some Javascript code directly in this field that will be included on all of your website pages. Do not include script tags at the start and end.

Formular

  • Beide: Wählen Sie diese Option um die beiden bereits genannten Methoden gleichzeitig anzuwenden (empfohlen)
  • Keine: Validierungsregeln werden nicht angewandt, so dass alle durch den Nutzer eingegebenen Daten in der Datenbank gespeichert werden (nicht empfohlen)

Validierungs-Position: Wählen Sie hier zwischen verschiedenen Positionen für die Fehlermeldungen.
Validierungs-Präfix: Hier kann ein Vorspann für die Validierungsmeldung eingegeben werden.
Validierungs-Scroll: Wählen Sie hier ob das Formular automatisch zu der Stelle springen soll an der die erste Validierungsmeldung auftritt.

Liste

Seitennummerierung: Legen Sie hier die Anzahl der Artikel fest die standardmäßig in Ihren Listenansichten pro Seite angezeigt werden. Dies kann in den Einstellungen von jedem Listen und Suchtypen individuell eingestellt und überschrieben werden.
Inhalte vorbereiten: Entscheiden Sie hier ob die Listen mit Joomla! Content plugins vorbereitet werden. Wenn Sie Beispielsweise Ja auswählen können Sie den Syntax zum laden von Modulen in den Listenelementen nutzen. Wir empfehlen Ihnen jedoch, diese Option zu deaktivieren und aus Performancegründen nur für einzelne Listen in den Listeneinstellungen selbst zu aktivieren.

Construction

Construction Mode: qui puoi scegliere il modo in cui creare/modificare i tuoi campi. Sono offerte le seguenti opzioni:

  • Standard: default per l’utilizzo base. I nomi dei campi non possono essere modificati dopo la creazione del campo per evitare che si rompano dipendenze (altri campi, conditional states, ecc. Fanno riferimento ai campi tramite il loro nome).
  • Standard+: come Standard ma puoi cambiare il nome del campo anche dopo la sua creazione.
  • Advanced: è una modalità che guida alla compilazione dei valori di titolo, etichetta e storage fornendo due input principali – il primo è tipicamente il nome del Content Type e il secondo è il nome specifico del campo. Nota che la modifica del tipo di campo non fa cambiare etichetta o storage.
  • Development: come Advanced ma aggiunge per i super user (amministratori) la possibilità di definire lo storage per i campi di sviluppo (development fields).
Construction prefix: si inserisce qui il prefisso che viene aggiunto automaticamente davanti ai nomi delle tue Folder, Content Types, Search and List Type e ai nomi dei campi. E’ consigliato di avere un prefisso fisso per tutti i propri progetti.
Custom attributes: puoi impostare il numero di attribute custom che saranno disponibili per campi quali Checkbox, Select, Radio, ecc.
